Naked Heat

by Richard Castle

As you guys may recall, I read "Heat Wave" last January, the first "Castle" book to come out as a result of the show. I enjoyed it. But this one was much better. The writing was better, the dialogue was wittier, and the plot was a lot more interesting. It makes me wonder, was it written by a different ghost writer than the first? If so, they should keep this second guy!

The characters were more flushed out and the action was more detailed. The plot itself was definitely more intricate and involved a larger cast of suspicious characters, sending the reader into a suspenseful page-turning frenzy. Ok, I may be over-exaggerating a bit since it is a book based on a TV show based on a writer, but you get the gist...

Honestly, these books written by "Richard Castle" are just ways for Hollywood to make more money off of this fabulous tv show, and I don't expect them to be anything more than amusing diversions. But please, keep them coming!
